Water Garden Cafe

When it comes to food service and a restaurant experience, consistency, quality, and uniqueness, play a big factor in whether or not you're going to enjoy the place. Water Garden Cafe, achieves all this every time, I'm fortunate enough to visit. The chef is amazing! Her vegan and vegetarian offerings are yummy, tummy filling, the execution is always spot on. From seasoning to off the special requests. The ambiance makes you stay long after the plate is empty. Very few places offer a palette pleasing balance between Omni cuisine ( animal/meat ) and vegan cuisine...but WGC, pulls it off effortlessly. Yes!!!!! Yes!!!! Yes!!!!!

This "diamond in the rough" restaurant is away from Ohio City and Gordon's Square, but offers tasty conventional and vegan fare. Well worth the visit.

Edit: While we arrived at 12:47pm our order was not placed until 1pm. At 1:20pm we were told they were out of the bacon that we ordered as a side and asked if we wanted a different kind. Our water was since finished and we weren't offered any throughout the rest of our time. Our food did not arrive until shortly after 1:45pm. It did not have the sausage and they told us they were out of that too. We were not given silverware and asked for some, but after several minutes of waiting we walked up and got our own. We promptly ate and left at 1:58pm----------Beware the service. We didn't eat until we had been there for an hour.
